The APP and the Field of Obstructive Sleep Apnea

This session will provide an overview of obstructive sleep apnea including diagnosis and management. It will review symptoms, screening tools, diagnostic testing, and both surgical and nonsurgical treatment options. Attendees will be able to: 1. Identify the obstructive sleep apnea patient based on risk factors, symptoms, and physical exam. 2. Discuss the ordering and interpreting sleep study results. 3. Identify treatment options for obstructive sleep apnea, including surgical and nonsurgical.
