Non-Accidental Trauma in the Pediatric Population
At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:
1) DISCUSS signs and clinical presentation of abuse; 2) OUTLINE common injury patterns that emergency department clinicians should look for to identify abuse; 3) TREAT patients of abuse and REFER and REPORT to the appropriate parties. Questions and answers will allow for audience participation.
