Chronic Kidney Disease
At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:
1) DISCUSS the diagnosis, definition and staging of Chronic Kidney Disease(CKD); 2) EXPLAIN the epidemiology of CKD; 3) DISCUSS the management of hypertension in CKD; 4) DISCUSS the management of Metabolic Acidosis in CKD; 5) DISCUSS the management of mineral and bone abnormalities in CKD; 6) IDENTIFY malnutrition in ESRD; 7) DISCUSS vaccinations in ESRD; 8) IDENTIFY the indications for referral in CKD. Questions and answers will allow for audience participation.
