Expect Surprises from the No Surprises Act
The No Surprises Act is often thought of as a way to protect patients in the hospital from unexpected, high medical bills from providers not on their plan. It is that but it’s also more. Every practice treating an out-of-network or uninsured (self pay) patient in their office must understand this laws implications.

• A thorough review of the No Surprises Act
• Discussion on the Good Faith Estimate (GFE) of expected charges for out-of-network and uninsured patients.
• Information Blocking defined and how to avoid patients reporting to the Office of Civil Rights.
• We will provide some practical suggestions for both Information Blocking and the No Surprises Act.
