

At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:
1) DEFINE domestic violence and human trafficking; 2) RECOGNIZE the prevalence of domestic violence and human trafficking; 3) DISCUSS the impact on health care; 4) DISCUSS the signs and symptoms that should alert physician to the possibility of domestic violence or trafficking; 5) INTRODUCE methods to screen for domestic violence; 6) IDENTIFY community resources for victims and perpetrators of domestic violence.
