Integrating Self-Directed and Life-Long Learning Skills into the Teaching and Learning Processes
At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:
1) IDENTIFY the skills required for life-long learning (e.g., reflection, planning, perspective-taking and self-assessment); 2) DESCRIBE evidence-based teaching strategies that promote these skills at the preclinical and clinical levels; 3) DISCUSS how these strategies can be incorporated into relevant courses and curricula.
