This meeting is open to ALL Sarasota Clerkship Faculty. As a result of this session, participants will be able to: • DESCRIBE the LCME accreditation process and summarize the LCME findings for the April, 2010, accreditation visit in terms of strengths and areas in need of enhancement. •DESCRIBE the current admissions activities in terms of number of applications, total acceptances, impact of programs such as Bridge, etc. • DESCRIBE characteristics of the new class of 2015 in terms of male/female, ethnic diversity, University attended, etc. • DESCRIBE how our students are performing on USMLE exams. • DESCRIBE the current GME activities of the college. • DESCRIBE current research initiatives with regard to the Clinical Research Network, external funding, and Translational Science Lab. • DESCRIBE the current College and University budget situation and what implications can be inferred. • DESCRIBE current development initiatives.
