Teacher-Student Rleationships in Medical Education: Boundary Considerations
At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:
1) DESCRIBE the basis for appropriate boundaries in teacher-students relations in the medical education settings; 2) DESCRIBE standards that govern appropriate faculty-student relationships; 3) DESCRIBE the individual and collective harm that can result from crossing boundaries with students; 4) LIST factors that can put faculty and students at risk for crossing boundaries; 5) STATE guidelines for fostering healthy faculty-student relationships.
