Clinical Rules and such • Epocrates-(Online and PDA) • PEPID • Coding • Essential Evidence Plus (Online and PDA) • CDC • Laboratory resources • Access Medicine (Pocket Guide to Diagnostic Tests) • ePocrates Labs (Pocket Guide to Diagnostic Tests) • PEPID Lab Manual Skills: • Use online and PDA resources to determine a differential diagnosis • Use online and PDA resources to find disease information • Use online and PDA resources to find ICD-9 codes • Use online and PDA Calculators • Find laboratory information Attitudes • Use electronic information at the point of care and regular electronic alerts/news as methods for keeping up to date. • Model the use of the library resources in your practice to keep up to date is one of the greatest things you can do while teaching FSU CoM medical students.
