Recognizing and Treating Severe Combined Immune Deficiency in 2011
At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:
1) correctly IDENTIFY infants with possible SCID and plan appropriate confirmatory tests; 2) DISCUSS the principles and outcome of hematopoietic cell transplantation for SCID; 3) EXPLAIN the importance of newborn screening for SCID. Questions and answers will allow for audience participation.
