"Effects of Exogeneous Melatonin Administration and its Role in Cognitive Function Amoung Elderly Subjects" 1) recognize why it is believed that melatonin would improve cognitive function; 2) describe the effects of short term melatonin administration on cognitive function; 3) summarize the future directions of the melatonin project. "Presence of Dysphagia after ACDF with low-profile cervical device" 1) Describe an alternate procedure to the gold-standard ACDF with anterior plating ; 2) Explain reductions in dysphagia associated with this procedure ; 3) Identify future goals to better characterize the benefit of ACDF with low-profile anterior cervical device "Deficient Low-Contrast Visual Sensitivity Occurs in Patients with Multiple Sclerosis: May Degrade Gait Performance, Possible Modification Utilizing High Contrast Visual Aids" 1) Describe the pathology associated with multiple sclerosis; 2) Explain the mechanism of optical coherence tomography; 3) Identify the possible relationship between decreased low contrast vision and gait performance in patients with multiple sclerosis. "Melatonin and Parturition: Circadian Contribution to Myometrial Contractions in Late Term Pregnancy" 1) Discuss the role of melatonin in regards to uterine contractions; 2) Explain the contributions of the circadian rhythm to the initiation of labor; 3) Name other biological factors that may initiate uterine contractions;
