M3/M4 Educational Resources 1. Inventory the availability of 3rd party educational resources provided in M3 and M4 2. Discuss the applications used by M3/M4 students, potential applications and uses of these resources 3. Assess the current use patterns of these resources by clerkship faculty and students An Overview of Clinical and Legal Aspects of AI in Clinical Medicine 1. Appreciate a working definition of intelligence and understand how we identify artificial intelligence (AI) and the terms used to explain it. 2. Appreciate the various specialties currently using AI. 3. Recognize the upstream, midstream, and downstream legal aspects of AI in healthcare. 4. Understand the legal concept of “Learned Intermediary” and how it will affect the use of AI in Medicine 5. Understand the components of an effective query to a Large Language Model or Transformer AI (e.g., Chat GPT-x) and recognize when an AI hallucinates Advancing the FSU CoM Mission through Scholarly Activity: Opportunities for Clinician-led Research 1. Recognize the importance of increasing research engagement among community-based clinicians. 2. Describe opportunities and models for incorporating research into clinical practice. 3. Identify strategies for initiating and expanding mission-based research. 4. Describe the process of forming successful clinician-researcher collaborations.
