At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:

1) LOCATE the “Drug Reference Page” on the medical library website; 2) LOCATE desired basic prescription drug information (dosage, indication, etc.) online and on the PDA; 3) LOCATE information about a herbal medication online and on the PDA; 4) CALCULATE a drug dosage using an electronic resource; 5) IDENTIFY if a drug is on a particular formulary and LOCATE alternatives; 6) PERFORM a check for drug interactions from a list of multiple medications; 7) USE an infectious disease guide to identify the recommended antibiotic for a particular pathogen or condition; 8) IDENTIFY a pill from it’s imprint or description; 9) USE an immunization schedule tool to determine the appropriate immunization for specific populations.
