At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:

1) DEFINE Social media; 2) NAME the (this week's) major social media sites and apps and describe their uses and users; 3) DESCRIBE medical student use of social media; 4) LIST some ways patients use social media and benefits from them; 5) LIST some medical uses of social media by clinicians; 6) IDENTIFY barriers to the use of social media by physicians; 7) ARTICULATE some strategies to put use of social media into proactice (or not); 8) LOCATE guidlines on the use of social media by physicians. Questions and answers will allow for audience participation.
