1.We will review the new evaluation tool for the 3rd year clerkships that focuses on competencies and ask for feedback since the new form was used for the first time in mid-August. 2.The participants will discuss the assessment of student’s clinical performance regarding presentations, both written and oral. 3.The participant’s will discuss the teaching and evaluation of clinical reasoning in the clerkships. 4.The participants will discuss issues regarding student’s demonstration of professional responsibility and cultural competence. 5.The participants will discuss methods for point of care teaching, including strategies in busy clinical settings. 6.The revised syllabi for the Family Medicine Clerkship and the Advanced Family Medicine Syllabus will be provided and the participants will have an opportunity to ask questions and seek clarification. Projects will be discussed and opportunities for clinical faculty involvement will be explored. 7.The participants will discuss faculty resources needed for participation in Clerkship teaching role.
