At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:
1) RECOGNIZE when and why a patient education handout would be needed; 2) IDENTIFY reliable patient education sites online that contain handouts and videos; 3) LOCATE a patient education handout online; 4) MODIFY the handout and print it out; 5) DETERMINE the reading level of a handout; 6) TRANSLATE a handout to another language.
Questions and answers will allow for audience participation.
