The Impact of Immigration on Mental Health, Medicine, and Law
At the conclusion, the participant should be able to 1) IDENTIFY the relevant psychological factors to consider in the medical treatment of individuals undergoing immigration proceedings; 2) EXPLAIN the physical and mental health sequelae of immigration; 3) DISCUSS the high morbidity of mental health problems, psychosomatic complaints and anxiety among migrants.
