As a result of attending this session, participants will be able to: 1) REVIEW the changes made to the syllabus this year for the Internal Medicine and Advanced Internal Medicine clerkships; 2) IMPLEMENT teaching strategies and opportunities that allow students to successfully accomplish the clinical learning objectives 3rd and 4th year curriculum; 3) DISCUSS implications of moving to a competency-based student evaluation system; 4) REVIEW criteria for the internal medicine student award. Questions and answers will allow for audience participation.
