Emergency Medicine Education Director Meeting
At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:
1)DESCRIBE the goals, objectives, & requirements as stated in the clerkship syllabus; 2) DESCRIBE the emergency medicine objectives (Reynolds Grant) and strategies for teaching them; 3) DESCRIBE and IMPLEMENT teaching strategies for helping student accomplish learning objectives as stated in the clerkship syllabus; 4) DESCRIBE strategies for helping the student prepare for the SHELF exam while still attending to syllabus clerkship objectives; 5) DESCRIBE strategies for conducting a feedback and evaluation session with the student and then IMPLEMENT that strategy and follow it up with reflective thought that will lead to increased effectiveness for the future; 6) DESCRIBE the new faculty development guidelines and educate clerkship faculty on these guidelines.
