Pediatric Education Director Meeting
MEETING OBJECTIVES:
At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:
1) DISCUSS how she/he uses the Likert scale to evaluate students; 2) DISCUSS the importance of specific student feedback; 3) DISCUSS new strategies for increasing student exposure to the hospitalized newborn; 4) DISCUSS the new requirements for writing letters of recommendation for students; 5) SHARE teaching successes and challenges.

3. Integration of Pediatric and Obstetric topics

a.How many of you are being asked for a letter?
b.New ERAS requirements for letter submission-now much stricter
c.Review of student personal statements
5. Faculty “open-forum” to discuss any concerns
