Teaching Medical Students to Document in the EMR Age
At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:
1) DESCRIBE the College of Medicine educational goals for student medical record-keeping; 2) IDENTIFY strategies clinical faculty can use to improve students use of technology with patients; 3) IDENTIFY medicolegal guidelines for student documentation in the EMR age; 4) IDENTIFY strategies to improve student documentation.
