Healthspan and Frailty: Bedside to Benchtop (and Back?)
At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:
1) restate the definition and components of frailty in the elderly and in animal models; 2) identify the role that vitamin D plays in human frailty; and 3) recognize the potential roles that vitamin D, sirtuin activating compounds and sirtuin genes play in animal models and frailty. Questions and answers will allow for audience participation.
